If I had to have something Mustang-branded and rubbish, I think I’d rather have that than their new electric SUV thing.

A classic case of putting the horses before the cart.

Should be

Love the style of this!

A while back Pete kindly posted pictures of my ‘aja’ turntable and there were some positive comments. At the time I promised a picture of my McLaren Burnt Orange version. Well things have moved apace in the last few weeks(!) and here you go. I should be showing these at the re-scheduled Cranage show in November.

Yes, very nice, especially the Burnt Orange one.

Thanks for the comments. The Orange is with charcoal grey metalwork which does look a bit black in pics. Here is a close up

Both lovely

Both want. But I’d settle for one. Time to raid the sofas.

Fascinating - I’ve never heard of a Commonwealth, but it sounds like it’s a Garrard competitor so could be pretty good. Thanks for posting, Paul

The champions of the Commonwealth turntables have been Herr’s Schick and Schroeder who’ve used restored samples at various events I’ve been at. I’m not sure the engineering is as sophisticated as a Garrard or EMT but the general construction is reassuringly substantial and they have sounded pretty good. Prices have sadly shot up in recent years.

Yep - saw one on ebay USA in average unrestored condition for $2.5k :flushed:

Looks like Jelco have gone.
