The worst places to live in England

List does not compute…No Wrexham

Surprised no where in Cornwall has made the top 50

Because Wrexham isn’t in England

I was born in Peterborough and lived the first 18 years of my life there. I’ll not be going back. It was OK when it was a small city but then the size was doubled quickly so it could be a ‘New’ city and the result is not very nice.

Did it not state UK ? Ahhhh note the alteration now

Anywhere that hosts a trago mills should be guaranteed a top 5 slot

Peterborough is boring AF, but at least it’s easy to get out of - how Boston ended-up at 49 is a bit of mystery…

Having lived there Bracknell should be #1

Uxbridge was one of my old stomping grounds, the borough is split in half by the A40
Ickenham, Ruislip, Northwood, quite nice
Uxbridge, west Drayton, cowley, Hayes not so nice

Eastern coastal towns could be better represented.

I worked in Ruislip (Manor) for 9 years. It’s not great !

Lots of homeless and drug use.
The sea front is really run down in Paignton and Torquay.

Tbh I think a lot of seaside towns are.

Be handy travel wise for you to get one of those first few met line stations now

Hillingdon

Exactly. The biggest issue that arose from the promotion is the commute.
When I was based at Ruislip Manor (while managing all stations between Uxb and Harrow), my travel was 40 minutes door to door. Now it 90+ minutes each way.

Reading should be top 10 at least.
