I don’t do clickbait quizes but I do know that a ‘piece’ is a sandwich which was very confusing when I first encountered it.
As I have shared before on here, I once shared a house with a few interesting characters, one was a Glaswegian whose diet seemed to consist of cigarettes, lard, salt and whisky. I learnt a few choice words and learnt that despite all the differences we are all Jock Tamson’s bairns.

Waiting for THE phone call.
We are about to become grandparents! A little girl, Clara, is due in the next 24 hours. Future daughter in law is being induced tonight as there are a few (hopefully minor) complications and bags are packed to ready to take off from Shropshire to Leeds in the next 24 hours.
So on the downside, she will be a tyke.
And for the first time ever I’ll be shagging a grandma.
Starting to feel excited.
