Bizarrely in the same field was one of those propane-fuelled gas gun bird scarers. Why ? They’ve just harvested the crop. And it was grass, mostly. WTF ?

After a very busy couple of weeks at work, and a Stag do for the Brother-in-law last weekend (involving a 13-mile ‘Rat-Race’ run, Tough-Muddler style) I had a day off in Lieu.
Mostly easy morning with Homes under the Hammer and then belting out the tunes since midday…

Watched my first auction live last week. Incredible how they whip folks up to spend more . A one bed bungalow that looked like a crack den in kings heath was guideprice of 5k and sold for 100k . You have to be very careful and I don’t know how they complete in 28 days !

Pretty stressful day really , my fabulous shed base turned out to be not flat enough so they had to dismantle this fairly large edifice again . Fortunately with a little greasing of the palms they agreed to come back later and pack it out with some plastic strip I bought. Not quite as pretty as I hoped but it’s up…Thank goodness

I use a wire cage on the inside of the door, works well as Curtis used to open my mail for me and give it a good chew test. His fav was the Amazon small boxes.
Have you really mounted that box 3 or 4 bricks up from the floor? My back is in spasm just looking at it. Fucking low down letter boxes should be banned.
