Today I have mainly been V3.0

That’s a bit shit

Here’s the heron escaping

You see, ignore the advice of David @murrayjohnson Attenborough at your peril!

Daily family exercise…

It’s strange. We have had fish in the pond for around 10 years and lost fish to the heron a couple of times but since we put the decoy “heron” in place we haven’t lost any… until this week. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Sneaky buggers those herons.

Is the liner badly damaged?

I don’t know I haven’t really investigated yet.

 Sorry to see that. I guess it’s either plenty of weed or some kind of netting required over the top

@freefallrob has plenty of water for ponds

It’s normally about 70% covered with water Lily pads. I may just put a sump in and make it into a water feature.

That’s what I did over our pond back in Hartlepool. To be fair it wasn’t to discourage herons, I found two dead blackbirds in there and put the net on to prevent further casualties.

So long as it wasn’t @cobbler 's Otter

Loads down the road from here…

What? Cobblers?

Making an overly adequate case for my SME V.

Can’t buy a box from SME and would cost about £140 if remember last time I asked them.

Are you going on tour with it?

Will probably sell it eventually. The Oracle has left the building now so it is sitting idle.

It’s a long way to Hartlepool from here. I went to a match there on a Friday night once …

It’s a long way to Hartlepool from anywhere.

On so many levels.

I think J_B’s fishpond is in Worcester so relatively easy for an otter riding a small bicycle.

You’ve seen them too?! :open_mouth: Thank fuck, I thought I was flashing-back…
