Another useful tips is make sure that you completely mix the cement with the S&G before adding any water, then make a well in the middle, add water and leave for 5 minutes, it will then be much easier to mix. The best tip if course is hire a mixer

Been to Morrisons in Derby this afternoon, it was surprisingly pleasant for a food shopping type of thing.
Exactly how I would make it myself if I was too lazy to pick up a phone and get somebody else to do it.

Sticking adhesive flashing to some lead joints on the extension roof - temporary treatment until next year. Cleaning the skylights inside and out. Going loco with expandable foam in an effort to make the garage roof watertight.
I think that’s my jobs for the day done.
