…engaged in technofuckery. My ancient Laptop was dying on it’s arse and I had yet to set up the new one work gave to me a while ago. Soooo… I cloned the old HDD onto a new SSD and bunged it into the new machine. A bit of fiddling around in the BIOS and some driver updates to get Roon working and voila, It lives…I’m typing this from the new PC.
DIY and the house has not burned down (yet).

Having surfing lessons at Holywell Bay, Cornwall with my 16 year old daughter. We both managed to stand up on numerous occasions.
Our instructor said we were ‘sick’. I believe that this is a compliment. Excellent fun.
It is gorgeous. We are staying there, 10 minute walk to the beach. Weather is being very kind too.
Planning a trip to The Lizard tomorrow, any recommendations? I’ve heard Kynance Cove is good.
The rush that you get when you catch the wave and stand up to be propelled to the shore is just fantastic, its so addictive
Kynance Cove is beautiful particularly when the sea goes out far enough that you can get round to the other beach.
Coming up the Eastern side of Lizard we like Cadgwith and Coverack. Get a pasty in Cadgwith & eat it sitting on the grassy little bit that sticks out into the bay. You’ll have to park at the top of the village & walk down to the sea front but worth it.
The Lizard itself isn’t too exciting apart from the horn on the roof of the lighthouse building!
Brilliant, thanks.
If you get onto the Land’s End peninsula avoid the upvc horror show that is Land’s End but do visit Porthcurno and, if you’ve time, walk along west to Porthchapel beach and even to Porthgwarra. But Porthcurno is a must if you’re down there. Alongside Kynance, probably the prettiest beach in England.
