Today I have mainly been V5.0 (Part 3)

Congrats Wayne. Seems like yesterday

Grey hairs say otherwise!

I just reminded Hel it was ten years to which she said I begged you not to, to which I replied good thing I didn’t listen to you then!

And yes ten years is a long time that passes quickly. I’m sure in time @Wayward will have that jubilation

And just like Wayne he will still be doing all the work himself

^ upon consideration, this image does a remarkably poor job of conveying quite how much single malt has been consumed this evening

It is, however, now twenty-past 5 in the AM, and I am fucked in ways that are set to cause pain for at least two more days I suspect

Nite nite John-Boy
 zzzzzzzzz

Off to river cottage today to do a fish and shellfish cookery course my wife bought for my birthday, I’ve done a few there and it is always a delight to be there

They’d met before when Sam and I had a hol in Jackfield just up the road from Mick and Jan, which helped. We also have a soft cloth muzzle for Max which goes on so he can get his introductory growling and snapping out of his system without getting nippy: once he feels he’s established his dominance he settles right down
Basil and Bandit DGAF either way, they just give him space and wait him out

And now they’ve all gone, he’s sulking, cos he misses them, the daft sod.

Missing them a bit myself TBH, lovely dogs :black_heart: :white_heart:

Killing several hours at BER. Nobody does desolate hellspaces quite like an airport.

The gardens at Schloß Charlottenburg were nice this morning anyway. And free.

Tempelhof was nice, although of course its designers/builders were not.

Glad I manage to fly into there when we visited Berlin years ago from LCY.

Tegel was a dump

Wife not currently laughing at the emergency kit (battery pack, 2 * USB A → C cables) that I carry on trips like this.

Well that was an impressively shit trip.

Supposed to be home around 6.30pm, actually around 12.50am.

I’m getting, or have got, too old for this shit.

Trying to get into

It’s open 10-2 as a sneak preview for Open House London.

Got there ~11.30 to find a massive queue around the block that then turned back on itself

Anyway I’m pleased for the organisers that they didn’t have a “what if I threw a party but nobody came?”.

Well it was yesterday if we are going to be pedantic, but a big thanks to @crimsondonkey for hosting, and lugging a metric F*ton of amplifiers up the 10 storeys from the garage to the listening room

It was great to hear the Avantgarde speakers, and even better to talk music, and Wayne’s Doors LA Woman pressings obsession :grinning:
