Today I have mainly been V5.0

May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Premier Inn Hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? The Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeast…

Something more purple

Given that I am in the Costa del Orpington, that may not be the worst description of the nightlife.

Sainsburys is on your doorstep though, so you can’t complain about the amenities.

Classy is Orpington - some of the girls even put knickers on to go out :ok_hand:

I get the Victoria → Orpington train probably twice a week. It used to be every day. However I don’t think I’ve ever actually been to Orpington.

The majestic herds of gazelle in Clapham this evening were quite something :grimacing:

But never to come home with .

Got a nice heavy piece of glass dated and signed 1955 for Father’s Day.

A birth year present! :grinning:

For you maybe!

Digging through box after box of cables and adaptors.

Yesterday, the Legions of Chaos (BiL, niece #1 plus dopey boyfriend) left themselves a whole half an hour to pack before they had to leave the house for the airport. Consequently they just scooped up everything in a panic and SiL’s laptop charger and work iPhone charger are now in Germany.

I couldn’t help with the laptop but we’ve lashed something together for the iPhone even though this is a strictly Android household.

Father’s Day gift from the kids. Beer with a personalised label. Mad old photo that….

Interesting support for the Rega turntable, Mana stack that uses an LP12 as a top shelf. Truly innovative.

Best use of an LP12 I’ve seen so far.
