Already put in for new uniform and have been picking paint out my ear all morning.
I had to drive our week old Volvo xc60 back from the incident having been told just a few hours before not to damage it in any way by the inspector as its predecessor was written off just the other day. Careful application of evidence bags over the seats did the trick

Having a fairly major life laundry. Stacey Dooley would be proud.
Quite liberating and has freed up a lot of space in a house that otherwise has poor storage.

Absolutely beautiful object. Cost a literally stupid amount of money from Drake’s about 15 years ago. Used: once.
It’s probably great for throwing in the footwell of your Ferrari and blasting off to Gstaad, but fcuking useless if you stagger around on public transport or just on foot.
I was thinking I might get an account on Vinted and try to flog it but then it dawned on me that if niece #2 could get rid of it she’s welcome to keep the proceeds. Maybe she could help with the cufflink mountain too.

Got my car back from the body shop yesterday.
Rather large paint “chip” (more hole) in the drivers door. Clearly not there in the collection photos.
Car goes back. I am in danger of more petrol station visits in the courtesy Skoda.
Seriously thinking of doing similar for my record sales. Offer a %age for somebody else to sell them. Only way they’ll ever get sold.
Alan at Uptown buys entire collections and is a very honest, fair bloke to deal with - give him a bell

Got these at a localchazzer. Amp has an 86 receipt. Never heard either of these items during the Flat Earth Wars. I was rocking Quad iis and ESL57s at the time for reasons of inner city burglar baffling as much as anything.

Backing cautiously into the late 20th C. I will hang it off the back of my computer instead of the tiny SMSL SU-8 I have at the moment. The CD player will give me the chance to play stuff before it goes on the hard drive(s). Maybe looking for some compact bookshelf speakers to replace my home brewed efforts. Ikea salad bowls sanwiched together with a wide range driver. Upgrade fever!
Keeping my ocd at bay. Long brass screws holding the Kiseki cartridge in place have been replaced with shorter black allen head screws.
When I got the SME 3012 back from J7, I discovered that the M3 20mm bedplate screws that I had were too short to accommodate the rubber bedplate grommets. I ordered a pack of M3 25mm screws which came today and I refitted the grommets. Suffice to say veils were lifted.
