finishing the repair to my rotten garage door. Should be ok for a while now, but long term they’ll need replacing. Not sure I can be bothered to make new ones myself again. mind you the existing ones have lasted just over 20 years with very little maintenance…

Well done. We had our 39th a few weeks back.
Doing appropriate seaside activities in a windy Weston-super-mare:
Wasting money on the pier, inc the Ghost Train
Walking on the sand/mud
Eating chips from a polystyrene tub
Playing crazy golf
Getting sand in our eyes while eating ice creams

Heading to the Dordogne for a weeks family holiday.
The whole family in a villa… three generations for Mums 70th.

My family are all In Yorkshire along with the nephew and nieces.
No kids for us so it will be great to have us all in one room (pool).
And the folks are arriving early and will have done the big shop when we rock up. It’s all gravy!
Only downside is my music clears the sunbathers. Usually.
Another half day waving a paint brush around before heading off to Villa park to scream obscenities at s disorganised mob of overpaid strangers led by a fat buffoon.
