Today has been pottering around the garden, and constructing my new Weber MasterTouch GBS (I sold my 12 year old one to a neighbour).

Should fire it up Thurs/Fri :+1:

All the best Paul :+1:

Good luck @pmac

Today I have been doing no work whilst quietly cacking my pants about the match tonight.

Getting absolutley soaked helping load up a massive removal lorry with ridiculous amount of equipment and stock that the boss refused to throw away and is instead taking to his (and my sisters) new retirmenet bunglaow.
It has been pissing down all morning - and at the other end we have to take all the boxes loaded with engineering tools and hydraulic fittings etc to a shed at the bottom of a field. Deep Joy.:weary:

Putting my back out showing my wife my version of the Tory Power Stance.

Lots of Nurofen required.

Back at work and recovering from the house move in the pissy rain on Monday, and the daughters graduation piss-up yesterday.

The house is a fucking mess and the barn storage looks like a bad car boot sale. I left Mrs DB and her mum to do the packing over the past couple of weeks. Did they label the boxes? Did they fuck! ā€˜It’s all right we know where everything is’ No you fucking don’t :rage:

Yes another reason I now have to dislike Tories

Sat in Birmingham International train station, having rather misjudged the time it would take me to get out of Birmingham airport. Only another 2 hours to wait.

Wasting my time.
Firstly, I discovered that a fairly simple ingredient was missing from my Lopwell brew. So off I go into the nearest brewing emporium, who didn’t have any. Ordered some for delivery tomorrow
While I’m in said town, I’ll pop into my nearest Record Store, I thought. It was the first time I have walked out of the shop without buying anything. They had nothing I wanted and I found myself apologising to the boss for not having spent any money. I did, however, order several albums which should arrive next week
Then a quick Waitrose shop for some Goose Fat and Gin.
Goose fat :white_check_mark:
Gin - meh!
Now, after a decent lunch, I’m waiting in for a delivery of BBQ stuff (chimney starter, cover, applewood chippings and ā€œcateringā€ coal).
We did manage to plant some chillies in between the rain.

Getting back home at 10pm from Aberdeen via just missing inter island ferries etc etc. No scan results yet, they’re to follow by letter.

Completely fucked, whisky now and soon to bed. At least that’s the plan…

Installing software.

I’m grudgingly looking for a job. The various counterparties are now starting to wake up, and every single one of them has some dorky little coding challenge.

So now I have to install a jdk, git, gradle, Eclipse, all on my noddy PC that’s really only meant for browsing.

Hey ho.

That’s sounds like a long knackering day. Everyone has their fingers crossed for good results.

So far today I have taken the dogs out and been and voted. Next I shall begin ripping out the upstairs bathroom.
