Tools you have bought/desire

I saw someone slip opening a tin with a chisel once, it was fairly blunt but results were lots of claret.

I’m sorry, that’s incorrect. As everyone knows, micrometers double as hammers.

Duh, stupid, that’s what wrenches are for!

Wrenches as hammers is amateur hour. Now using an electron microscope as one would impress me.

Anyway, Wera has you covered, “ratchet with ‘hammer function’”

Anything is a hammer if the need is great enough!

A dirty little scrubber is high on my needs list. Spent four days taking bow and cup out of rough quarter sawn Oak, not doing that again.

These little scrubber planes turn a days work into an hour’s work. A nice thick blade, open mouth and a 3" diameter curve to the blade make this plane a one trick miracle worker.

You are so far down the rabbit-hole with this, that that last post was basically a foreign language to me…*

Nice

*. that’s a good thing btw

But but that doesn’t lead to buying new shiny.

Disapprove.

This is true. I do have a couple of No4s, but I’ve already restored then, don’t have the heart to change them.

Also shiny reasons and Christmas :ok_hand:
