I fear she genuinely believes that uncompromising Brexit is in the best public interest and that doing what it takes to achieve that is the best way to serve the public.
That’s how thick she is.
The fact that her electorate seem to feel the same way means that following this line also keeps her in office, which I guess she regards as a happy coincidence.
