My local dealer is being “very” supportive around the cost of a new technics 1500C
Seems I can’t really find a better deck / arm / cart combo for less than that.

I also let things get out of hand (as I do) and picked up a Nagaoka MP200 for it, which as far as I can tell, seems to be one of the better sensibly priced MM carts
