Thanks. He ended up flying into the main office. So I opened the windows nice and wide which made me popular with the few that are in. Result though as he flew out.

Well done.

Btw, it’s the most populous British bird.

Mind blown.:exploding_head:

Yeah, everyone thinks of starlings, gulls, pigeons, sparrows, etc. etc. being the commonest.

amazing - i’d never have guessed…i guess they like to remain under cover, so are not seen as much…

Heard more often than seen. If you learn the song and calls you will soon realise that they are almost everywhere. They’re very vocal, year round.

Wow!

Feisty little birds as well aren’t they. We had two males fighting in the garden, later found one dead.

Surprised they are the most common bird.

Found this one in old holiday photographs, taken in 2009 in Egypt.
A Hoopy bird, unfortunately a bit of a grab shot. A nice reminder of less hectic times.

So true!

Just why?

Because the game shooting fraternity are utter cunts and the chances of a conviction are zero.:face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

It was a rhetorical question - but any well thought out clarification is very welcome, and supported. :kissing_heart:
