Ugh, estate agents

:joy:

Kind of ironic that everything that justified the existence of Dagenham is now in China - that’s how far they had to go to make it worse.

Apart from Ford of course.
Nowhere near the employer they once were, but I think Transit engines are still made in Dagenham

same as scumhampton, used to have a huge factory there which built all the Transit vans until they moved to Turkey and closed.

AFAIK the Transit engines are still built in Dagenham and then shipped to Turkey where they are fitted in the vans

Yes, I was talking about the build of the van not the engine.

Want.

Very nice.

Looks like my primary school

Lovely place though, those crittall windows are hard work when you need to sand them back and repaint. Worked on a flat near Crouch End a decade ago them in.
Hard part is sand them without sanding the glass.
Ended up taking them back to metal and painting them, looked great once done.

You do need to run the gauntlet of 80s mock Tudor along its road to actually get there.

Definitely seen that here a few months ago. Did a sale fall through or something?

Gorgeous place

Kitchen ruins it

Yep the kitchen would get ripped out completely and start again to harmonise with the rest of the house.

If I wanted to look deep and pseud-ish, I would say you were ahead of your time when it comes to the past.

That is just lovely

1.8 acres in Surrey?
That will be demolished and developed

I rather prefer this one tbh
