Ugh, estate agents

Neighbour has put their house up for sale (clearly fed up of living next to us!).

Hel always preferred this one but pretty much all the rooms are smaller and the only nice period feature left is the stained glass front. And we don’t need a granny flat annexe.

Very “utilitarian” inside.

Did they see the Altec drivers arrive or did the Shearer horn plans blow over the fence?

My first reaction was ‘where’s all their stuff?’?! It kind of looked a bit sterile and unlived in.

Then again they have in the last 2 years had their grown up children move out and now the mother has left the annexe for her older people’s community flat so maybe that’s why?

But that one and the one on the end have been stripped of original features which is a bit of a shame.

I’ll never forget their faces when the truck arrived to offload the Duo XDs on a pallet

Haha, you guys really wouldn’t like our house

People have used the words “restaurant” and “museum” in the past.

Deserves a lot of respect for matching bed and speaker covers.

Never mind the velour speaker trimmings, take a look at photo 13!

Likes his tape recorders. Audion 300B monos?

They do look like sideways Audions. Pic 3 has Yamaha NS-2000 and some oil rig TT too.

So where are all the records and tapes?

Some on the shelves. The rest are probably hidden away for the photographs if his wife’s anything like mines.

2 or 3 record decks on the left. Can’t someone book a viewing for Mr and Mrs A Battoir?

Think it’s just the one, albeit a bit of a beast, and another R2R
