Isn’t Transrotor basically a German Orbe fed too many sausages and beer.
I think Michell even make some of the parts of used to do so.

I’m pretty sure the big silver cake tin turntable that Bob @ICHM uses is the apocryphal ‘Fat Bob’ by Transrotor. His sounds very nice indeed.

I love the TMD system that Transrotor uses (complete with Smashey and Nicey starting handle) but I think you’d struggle to get any model with it under £4k.
This is where I’m not sure of the logic of selling an Orbe and looking to get a significant improvement in sound by spending about the same - unless the OP just wants a difference in presentation and maybe aesthetics for the money?

There is a law of diminishing return. You will have to spend a fuck-ton of money. It is just how it is. Spending less money will leave you disappointed.
Anyhow, it ain’t yer tt, it is the arm and cartridge. And probably some other stuff.
