Wanted: CDP / Transport to about £250

:exploding_head: I’ve spent the last 2 months trying to get mains off my signal.

Just get a Pioneer stable platter CDP for under 100.

This looks OK, ignore veggieangrydonkey.

They were a great marketing wheeze. I’ll wager the platter was no more “stable” than any other CD player. Not that it stopped them from being good sounding.

A double stable platter would be an even better marketing wheeze.

You put the disc in upside down, so it might be better. But I doubt it made much difference.

So,

has optical out so you can use your DAC.

Also plays movies.

Is also a music streamer*, and does stuff like iPlayer and Netflix
