The master tape, of the albums? Or just some random 2" Ampex that’s useless anyway because of SSS?
If the former, then it’s actually pretty cool, if foolhardy, if the latter, then meh.

Done before by Radiohead although not with 2" tape. It uses .5" tape to encircle the special edition cover/case of A Moon Shaped Pool.

Vinyl would have been a no-brainer 
I might have to buy that. I’m not sure I could afford the vinyl version should it exist. I’m guessing there would be 15-20 LPs given that there are 3 full concerts and 35 minutes of the Coventry gig along with all the LPs and outtakes.

8+ CDs worth so yes, plenty of vinyl and plenty of money.
Narelle has banned me from buying CDs. Bless her, she insists that I only buy vinyl.
But, when summat is only available on silver disc ???
You buy the CDs and send them to me. I promise to send you FLACs eventually.

US so it needs to come over on Sister mail. I have it on double CD so I’m not surprised there appears to be a lot of tape involved!
