Oh, and look up the video to “Ain’t Nice” on one’s tube.
'tis a work of genius.

Own far too many pressings of Bryter Layter already so resisted buying back in 2013.
But this remaster by John Wood is a revelation
Good pressings Steve? What is the demos one like?
Dunno about the demos one, but as they’re 17.99 from her site… thought I’d give it a punt.
Alternative is a 1st pressing on ebay for 350 quid
All the recent reissues have been quality pressings. I think @htm_1968 has bought a few as well and I assume would say the same.
I haven’t bought those so I can’t comment, but all the others I’ve bought have been great. I particularly like the demos as the performances are even more frantic in many cases than the final versions which lack the simplicity of the demos.
Four new to me.
Sauce And Dogs - Sauce And Dogs
Laura Veirs - My Echo
Arlo Parks - Super Sad Generation
Thom Yorke - Anima
Fine record. Might give that a spin next in fact.
Girl ? - check
Gittar ? - check
All is well, carry on.
Haters gonna hate.
I think Polly is a bit deeper than the usual John Lewis Xmas advert fodder, to be fair Mike.
