It’s a classic box set maybe one day I’ll get the album box set as I could only afford the CD version when it first came out.

I was lucky that one popped up in great condition on Discogs at a reasonable price. Couldn’t believe my luck.

Internet has gone down in town so cancelled all meetings and went to record shop. Cost me a fortune as they had a lot of decent stock in.

Was talking with my older brother a week or two back who told me he’d met Joe Strummer in a London caff back in the day. Brother had spent some time in Nicaragua so had been talking about that & the Sandinista album. He said Strummer was utterly charming, bright & well informed. Delighted too not to be talking about music biz things. A sad loss, much too early.
