What albums have you bought lately?

If he has it in stock then you have a chance. Otherwise, he’ll take your money and sit on it until you remember to request a refund.

Not necessarily. I enquired last week about a record and he said yeah he had 3 in stock but was too busy with regular customer orders to ship it out to me in the next 6 months

I decided to go elsewhere and pay more with at least the comfort I was going to receive it.

Didn’t Jack White famously faff around with cassette decks to try and make the sound as lofi as possible?

You buying the reel to reel version?

Probably.

Elephant was recorded old school analog at Toerag studios with all the edits spliced on the master tape itself. The recording is certainly good enough to warrant a really good pressing.

Yep

Bought these two recently. The LP was on the back of seeing them at The Forum as part of the Tunbridge Wells Local and Live event last weekend…

Not sure I see the point in this release other than let’s make some more money but it’s one of my favourite albums and I’m struggling to not buy it.

This came through today! :sunglasses:

Yeah. I remember buying “Just for a day” at release on CD. Always loved it. The new album prompted me to track them down on vinyl.

The new LP is excellent. I’ve been listening to it all day. Very decent recording too.
