As you know, I’m first and foremost a jazzer but it struck me as just a turgid self-indulgent mess and the music press have been ooing and aahhing and proclaiming it as this amazing jazz album purely because of who he.
The sad thing is there are a shit load of amazing jazz musicians out there who’d love to get even a fraction of the press he’s been getting for this.
