Cool, glad you like. The songwriting is much stronger than A&tS (they do theselves a disservice not including a lyric sheet), and I agree, less abrasive. A&tS are streaming-only for me - not quite committed enough to buy any hardware.

Two other similar bands I came across this week, though a bit more pop-rock influenced: Black Honey and Swim School - you heard either of them? I find them a bit hit and miss though very good when they hit.
