What albums have you bought lately?

Bet that sounds good, the official release was weirdly overdubbed . Wish the estate would start issuing live sets of his early years, had many boots but would be great to hear more soundboard sets properly mastered.
Coincidently, walked into a record store on Saturday whilst this was playing, with a DJ doing a live set. He also played a funky remix of Controversy, but can’t find that. It’s Dimitri from Paris..https://youtu.be/YYVcRtPDoCs?si=onNy4IywxqWMdOHW

Still don’t have mine.

15 days, door to door for mine. Riding Easy took a few days to process the order before that.

Mine ordered 27th May :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

I missed this first time around and they’ve started to restock it so I jumped on it.

Really enjoying this album

Inspired by the ALFOS purchase, I realised I only had this on cassette!
I must have played it to destruction back in the day as I still remember every song.
Upgraded to CD now. And the Jays is still making my CDs sound incredible.

A.R. Kane - i

Pretty sure I have an unloved under appreciated copy of that on vinyl somewhere!

I’ll have it if you can find :grimacing:

I’ll be sending you a message regarding the Sissy sit
Once I have had a bit more time , off to Rome Sunday for a week , so it will have to wait .

The first sentence will be how quiet they are, I have a bit of hum with the aleph30 but these are deadly quiet.

I’ll see if I can dig it out by the time you get back.

Not surprised as it was a ‘must be’ requirement that they’re v quiet with my 106db Duos.

One of the other ‘must be’ criteria was to sound a lot like a triode amp. Lets see how you found it when you have a bit more time.

It’s very positive in the little time I ve had , the tone poet money jungle sounded delicious last night

I don’t have the debut 69 if you are sat on a copy of that as well. I must have lost the cassette.
Struggling to find an original cd (not even looked at the vinyl yet).

Or anyone else who may have a copy. I have the later remix album though.

My copy of Maria Wallace’s debut EP arrived yesterday. Sort of West Yorkshire bluegrass / Amaricana, well written songs clearly recorded with good musicians. Glad that I backed it on Kickstarter, she has done a lot for the roots music scene as a promoter, and this shows that she’s a decent singer / songwriter too.
