A bit of a grail for me. Been looking for a nice older copy of Cape Verdean for a while.
Finally my local purveyor of all things temping had not one, but two copies in. A 1966 US mono, which was hugely appealing, but I suspect not one for regular listening, and this early 80’s Japanese pressing. This was a lot less money also! l

Well not me, but Hel. She was out today and saw two albums in a shop and bought them for me, excitedly declaring they were UK first pressings.
I delve in the bag and pull out Pink Floyd’s Atom Heart Mother and Ummagumma

Her bubble well and truly burst Hel insisted on listening to them to verify for herself if they were as truly awful as I suggested . It’s fair to say that she is less tolerant of things she doesn’t like than I am. She was not impressed…
