This is my 4th evening without booze. Ive surprised myself that even with cold beer in the fridge for the 2nd week running ive managed to not have a drink Mon to Thurs. 'Kin hard though at this time of the evening.

Been consuming too much recently due to hot weather. Needed to cut down, my sleep has improved which is a bonus.
Gonna binge drink over the bank hol to make up for it though.

Fair enough. I read an article on the BBC recently about a presenter, I think it was, who worked out his fairly low key alcohol intake to be 80 - 100 units a week and I thought meh, amateur !
Food for thought ? Certainly. Time to worry ? Maybe.

Right…so…I can accept that the harms outweigh the benefits for one or two drinks a day (whether it’s worth worrying about is another thing…), but “Governments should consider advising people to abstain entirely”? What about a couple of drinks a few times a week? Is it not a bit of leap from one drink a day actually being unhealthy to not drinking at all?
