Reminded me of Stewart Brewing’s Edinburgh No 3 when I saw your pic Mike - and sounds like it’s is in a similar vein
Sounds interesting, I’ll have to invest in giving that a quaff
It’s a lovely pint Mike
Great stuff. Thanks Allan
Sun is out, so in a jug goes a bottle of fruity red wine (tempranillo), sugar syrup, big slug of tequila, soda water and a load of ice.
Nice and refreshing

haha …ides of August
Right now I’m done for the evening (it’s half eight here). But we’ve just got back from dinner at this place https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g55411-d10538040-Reviews-Margarita_Grill_Mexican_Restaurant-White_House_Sumner_County_Tennessee.html where I ordered a 12oz frozen margarita with my meal. Very nice (it’s still very hot outside). I got to the end of the food and the drink at much the same time. Then the waitress asked if I would like another margarita. I said I thought I should probably call it a day and she said OK. But did I know that Monday to Thursday the deal was ‘buy one get one free’ ? Boy this is my kind of town.
On the way home we stopped in here https://www.facebook.com/pg/JLliquors322/about/?ref=page_internal and picked up one of these https://www.knobcreek.com/our-products/single-barrel-reserve/ to come home with us.
I’ll be seein’ y’all !

Its 8.5%, brutal.
Ah, the traditional Belgian dish of “cheese”, accompanied by “meat” if I’m not much mistaken.
Correct generic meat and cheese. Very nice tbh.
Yazoo Hopry IPA
Strong (7.2%) and strong tasting. Brewed in Nashville, in case you hadn’t guessed from the name. The US beer industry has been utterly transformed since we lived here in the 80’s, when it was simply dreadful.
