What I'm watching (Part 1)

It’s a French film with Yves Montand in the Roy Scheider role. Worth seeking out Nick it’s excellent.

I’ve just seen the second episode of Chernobyl. It’s absolutely amazing. I don’t know how they did it but everything checks out. Great writing, acting, setting and attention to detail. I’ve watched many contemporary shows set in the Eastern bloc in the 80s and there was always something wrong. This feels very authentic and gripping.

I haven’t watched it yet, but if the first episode is anything to go by, then it could be a classic drama.

I’m going to have to check this out.

No, not yet. Worth the wait though.

I watched the second episode of Chernobyl today and it’s superbly done and as Chris says they have the feel of the era spot on. It’s quite chilling and horrific in equal measures.

I like the fact it’s brought to light the unsung heros who had to deal with it first-hand - staggering bravery.

Chernobyl - flabbergasting stuff. Nicely done though so far 2 eps in.

Here we go again. I’ve hidden all heavy objects.

Le Marc Ne Francois Pas?

Try again

Turned it on, saw some Jockist pontificating about Jeremy Kyle. Turned it off lest the irony cause my telly to fall down a wormhole.

Ah, QT, I’m on Newsnight for the sake of my telly.
