What I'm watching (Part 1)

Finished all FiF episodes available through Now TV
45 episodes of beards, oil quenches (never use water) delams, cold shuts and catastrophic failures
Season 3&5 are missing from Now TV so may be elsewhere on the interwebs.
Just found out that they are now on S9 so 7&8 are out there as well so all is not lost!

Edit
Hooray, just discovered 4 eps of FiF Beat the Judges and 5eps of FiF Tournament which should keep me going for another week :grinning:

Impressive dedication!

It is one of my favourite kids books.
It is often done in yr6 or yr7 depending on the school.

Peter Green documentary on BBC4 tonight at 9.30.

It’s really good, I’ve seen it several times.

Looking forward to Enola Holmes, based on the trailer. Need a bit of light-hearted escapism.

I’m watching it again though.

Xmen: Dark Phoenix

Attack on Titan binge today. My daughter found series one on Netflix and we’ve just finished series 2. Series 3 will no doubt consume a chunk of the weekend.

It’s rather strange…

Niece #1 was obsessed with that, potentially still is, but she’s something of a manga maniac so her opinion is biased at best.

Mission Impossible Fallout.

Official Secrets

The true story of Katherine Gunn, GCHQ whistleblower, and the illegal shenanigans that led to the Iraq war.

Very good indeed.

That’s on our list to watch👍

Yes that is particularly good.

As is this, 80s fashion and soundtrack are a bonus to a follow up series better than the first.

:+1: have started that as well!

Get thee to Tenet. I want to hear whether you think the Physics has the authenticity of Gravity. :grinning:

Interstellar physics was mostly OK until they decided to just dip inside the event horizon and send the data out. I am unconvinced that’s possible.

Edit: although maybe something like it is… http://physicsbuzz.physicscentral.com/2019/05/gargantua-science-behind-interstellars.html

I’m guessing Tenet is not pretending to be some kind of high brow movie though.

Oh I think it might be

I think the same consultant (Kip Thorne) who advised on Interstellar was also helping out with this film.
