What I'm watching (Part 1)

Lovecraft Country.

Great music. Oddly scary. Wizards.

I’m in for more!

Just saw Quicksand - Swedish drama. It’s good to watch after The Fall as it shares a main theme, but I felt that the ending was poor. They withheld a key part of the story until the end for the sake of creating drama and suspense, whereas it was the kind of point that should have been been revealed earlier. A shame as on the whole it was pretty good.

Watching Everest… again… and concluding, again, that it really is a fool’s errand

I watched some of that last night. It still looks so good. Hard to believe it was released in '86.

I needs me a 4k release :sob: (The Abyss too.)

Really enjoyed this. The female lead was also brilliant.

I know, right?

I read that Cameron has control over it, and he was prioritising Avatar 2 :man_facepalming:

:sob:

True Lies is suffering the same issues.

Great book,
I had no idea it was a young adult book, perhaps it isn’t?
I really enjoyed it :grinning:

It was one of the books our FoL were reading at school maybe 15 years ago. I recall enjoying it at the time.

Whoa!! How is it??!!

Pure Nolan. If you liked Inception you will more than likely like Tenet.

I love Nolan films. I loved Inception. I loved Tenet.

I’d give it a solid 9/10 but I can’t pass up giving it Tenet out of Tenet.

Inception is one of my favourite films, so I’m holding high hopes.
