As much as I hated her, the contrast between her and the current incumbents ability to communicate and what I actually believe was her genuine love for the Country is striking.
For me, to be looking back at the witch, thinking that she wasn’t so bad compared to what we have now, shows how fucking bad things have become.
I was having this same discussion with some of the guys in work - it’s mental really. I think what we have now are criminals disguising themselves as politicians - same as Trump et al.
Whatever her faults, I don’t think you could ever accuse her of being a liar or corrupt.
She had her ideology, which I still abhor, but she was straight up about it. I don’t doubt that the usual machinations were going on in the background, but ffs, Johnson, worse than Thatcher, I’m in some kind of alternate universe.
Yeah, I enjoy that too.

Couldn’t sleep last night so caught the first two episodes of The Expanse S5 on Prime. They’ve released three so far.
Any good? S4 was a bit meh…
Yeah it was great. As you know, shit’s going down in S5/book 5 and Amos has his own storyline too.
Didn’t think books 4-6 were as strong (still fantastic in the scheme of things)
7 pulled me right back in.
