saw that on imdb the other and keep meaning to watch it, I think it was on Netflix?
Yeah
Been meaning to have a look - any good Bob?
Got up to ep 3, itâs hard work TBH. Not sure what itâs trying to be, almost a Danteâs Inferno with the 9 circles of hell in reverse. Not sure if itâs trying too hard to tell a story In a different way.
Just finished Love, Death and Robots (Netflix) with FoL#2 Lauren. Generally good, but a few real gems in there.
They used a Thea Gilmore cover of Bad Moon Rising in that film.
She found out it about when a friend sent a message to say she had heard the song.
Thea knew nothing about it and got paid nothing.
All legit as she doesnât own the copyright on the recording.
I wondered why they didnât use the original. Mind you, the Cranberries provided the obvious play out track.
Watching âa monster in Parisâ with FoL2. Fun little film
Mein GottâŚWaded through the Appalling script ( or lack thereof ) Forced Eytaliano accents and turgid acting up until the Matrix esk gunfight in subterainian Rome saw the body count outstrip The Charge Of The Light BrigadeâŚThen turned it OFF
Yeah, thatâs much of what is great about the John Wick franchise. Whatâs the problem?
Ahhhhhhhh⌠I hadnât realised it was supposed to be quite that pantsâŚtho I have just watched the second halfâŚ
Most likely KRâs finest piece of acting since his Johnathan Haker in Dracula
Watched this the other night, found it a bit rubbish and too predictable. Should have been a lot better.
Considerably darker than his usual fare, it seems Guy Ritchie is on some kind of hormone replacement therapy such is the level of testosterone in this âshoot just about everybody filmâ. Suspending disbelief is impossible. The brooding unwavering revenge angle has been done over and again, to be fair Statham plays a convincingly determined character. There is no cheeky chappie, no throw away banter in this story and it wouldnât fit it there were. (Revenge apparently is not a bag of laughs.) All in quite watchable but not the best thing the director or lead man has ever done. 7/10
Justice league
The 4:3 is really bloody good on a big telly.
On Sky docs;
