That album and scene was somewhat peripheral to me at the time. I was vaguely aware of it but no more than that. I recently found a copy of the CD and have been enjoying it greatly. The documentary is well worth a look.

Will have to watch that as I live in Camden and have done since 1984, Soul II Soul and Red or Dead shops in Camden are both memories of mine 80’s to early. 90’s. Shame today Camden Market/Lock is mostly just tourist crap.

Minamata - Depp, very good indeed. First time in ages I’ve forgotten it’s him, and just enjoyed the film.
The Green Knight - Dev Patel. Bearing in mind it’s based on a 14th century poem, and therefore chained to a particular story, this is a sumptuous telling of the tale. Completely ridiculous and incredibly beautifully shot. Why the hell he didn’t just give the green dude a tiny nick on the arm, I’ll never fathom. Well, ok, his lust for glory/fame/honour etc… blah blah. Worth a watch.
Reminiscence - Hugh Jackman. Silly.
Voyagers - silly, but entertaining. Looks great.
See, Season 2… much enjoy, much grimness. Also silly.
I think the whole thing is on the iPlayer now. We’ll probably just do one a night.
Mortimer and Whitehouse Gone Fishing series 4
Moves a bit away from the fishing to the characters which is fine although a bit manufactured/overdone at times.
The Tench were huge, Sea Trout/North Uist beautiful and the lost trout at Watendlath a bit frustrating as Bob is just fucking useless. I’ve fished Watendlath a few times and the trout there are super-hard fighters.
The Lake District show was genuinely funny though and quite moving at times as the two were more natural.

read the book, don’t feel the need to watch the series.
Was slightly disappointed in the book.
Watched the 2nd part tonight. I like it.
didn’t think the book got into the characters enough, not that any of them are likeable, but was sort of expecting much more from it.
I can never really enjoy anything on TV or film, if I’ve read the book.

Still can’t make up my mind on this. Wifey likes it, but there is just so much silly.
There really is, but I’m going with it. The mental queen has to be the most annoying character in TV history, and the whole premise is absurd. But equally it’s beautifully made, and a lot about the way they’ve explored the concept, I think is quite clever. I think it succeeds on an atmospheric level, and I’m a total sucker for anything post-apocalyptic, especially if the production values are high, as they definitely are with this.
Well I’m in for the long haul with it. It certainly has its moments.

Halfway through Cruel Summer. It’s a little slow but well done and quite dark.
Passengers (2016) - Utter bollocks.
S1E1 Westworld. Loved it. Heard it tails off a bit. Hope not.
Plummets.
