What I'm watching (Part 1)

Sheeeeit.

What’s that on? Prime, Netflix…

A bit harsh, at least they ended it without running out into the ground over a full 7 series run.

It’s not finished.

Also, I still enjoyed season 2 and 3, but compared to the first, I stand by plummets.

S1 is excellent. Its wtf is S2 trying to do/ can’t be bothered anymore that follows.

Disney+

It was originally on another cable channel. I forget which. I assume Disney bought the rights.

Plumeted to the mere depths of enjoyment.

Shame they are making more, the number of these that go the distance and still measure up is fingers of one hand material.

I even thought the Sopranos and The Wire ran out of steam. My list pretty much ends at Madmen.

Oh bollocks, I think the Beeb showed the first. Hey ho, hopefully some one will copy it to YouTube.

Sums it up.

Haha I’ve been watching The Wire

All hail the King ,a short film with Ben Kingsley.
It’s something to do with Marvel but no idea as I’ve not seen much Marvel’s. Worth watching for Kingsley.

Pretty surprised to discover this has been brought to screen. Very good so far though.

Which one was the one with people with horns and what not? I couldn’t get away with that one.

You might mean Carnival Row on Prime? There were horns and fairy wings in that. I saw a couple of episodes of a particularly dreadful thing with a kid with goat horns the other week, but I think the area of my brain that recalls things has largely blotted it out. And there was that thing with Will Smith (Bright) although it wasn’t a series.

I mean a comic. I’m sure it was either that Y or another he wrote. I’ll look it up in a minute.

Edit:. It was another he wrote called Saga. So, I didn’t try Y. Might try the TV version.

Ah ok I see. I’m not that widely-read, comics-wise. I read a bit of Y, and loved the scenario, so jumped on this.
