What I'm watching (Series 2)

Which season? I’ve given up halfway through the latest, it’s getting silly and repetitive now.

Think it is Season 1 ep 8 or 9 I am on. Seems good so far.

Very good

Just finished the first episode and enjoyed also.

Hope they all are as good.

There are a couple of ropey accents mind.

Just finished the last episodes, really enjoyed this. Takes me back to a long time ago when I read William Gibson, what a visionary

It should be absolute garbage but it’s brilliant. We binged two series in no time at all.

Only watched series 1 just recently, over a couple of weeks.
We quite enjoyed it.

Same.
Late to the party. Had looked for it before but it’s now all on iPlayer.

Thought the fire breathing dragon in the surprise ending was a bit weird mind.

It’s insanely good. The casting is amazing for starters. The two sisters are completely believable.

The dialogue is beautifully understated and natural. My disbelief was completely suspended - at no point did I think ‘yeah, that’s bollocks and would never happen’.

They’re almost too good. They’re so natural and convincing you can’t help notice the others ‘acting’. It’s subtle but shows a gulf in skill and craft.

Bugger.
Does this mean I have to watch it now?

Yes. Yes you do.

I really wasn’t expecting much but have been completely sucked in. Better than much I’ve seen recently.

That scene at the start of one of the S3 episodes where they are sat out the front early one morning chewing the fat is tv magic.

Hasn’t realised that Tommy was played by the same actor throughout.

The wife is on Skype with her family so it’s back to a perennial.

Everybody else seems to think that it’s crap, but I like it.

And it’s definitely not because I think the Israeli Defence Force chick is off-the-end-of-the-scale hot. Nope.

Some of it filmed in Glasgow so the subject matter is entirely appropriate :grinning:
