Great soundtrack!!
Knives Out and Glass Onion - both quite amusing. Thought the first one was marginally better.
Great book too.
It was a lot better!
They were surprisingly different films, I thought. It would have been easy to make the second very similar, basically creating a new Poirot or whatever, but they made some very leftfield choices.
I do agree that the first was better, but the second was better than expected.
I thought they were both shite
A friend of mine helped make this film & appears in it a bit!
When the blues arrived in early 60’s Britain.
Looks interesting, summat for tomorrow
I remember first hearing her on some Chris Barber LP & assumed they’d just hired a very good black singer to do the vocals. Was quite surprised when I found out more about her.
Brilliant
The Who live at Kilburn 1977

Got 45 mins into Knives Out and turned it off.
Turgid and ridiculous like the worst AmDram of a Christie play.
Or maybe that was what it was supposed to be.
Not sure many Flixers have read or watched Christie? I thought it resolved fairly well at the end. Daniel Craig with a Southern drawl took a lot of effort though.
I thought it was ok, apart from Daniel Craig’s hamming it up accent. Think of it as a homage to Agatha.
I’ll take your word for that as I won’t be seeing it!
Compared to snakes on a plane, it was positively highbrow… A low bar I know.
Thanks for giving me another one to avoid
