Over the course of Sunday and Monday nights this
2hr50 of clumsy dialogue, bright lights and loud noises. Could have lost an hour and still been 2/5.
Free on Channel 4, but a hard avoid from me.
We have this on DVD or Blu-ray
however right now it is sitting on MiL’s TV rack in NI. But it is also on ITV streaming. Much more my kind of thing.

watched ST2 wrath of Khan on Sky the other evening and straight after was ST3 search for Spock, that lasted 15 mins before I remembered how crap it is.

Even numbers is the general rule.
Although I now have a soft spot for the first one as it looks so fucking good. I’m sure it was heavily influenced by 2001, but the set design is incredible.
It’s also a really good plot premise but delivered a little too cerebrally for the Star Trek audience of the time who were probably expecting ‘larks’ and ‘capers’

Did you catch the 4th one in the cinema last week ? 40th anniversary I believe.
Unfortunately/fortunately not (delete depending on your view).
I don’t mind it, but it not The Wrath of Khan (but what could be!?).
It’s a rather clumsy environmental message with some Trekkie in jokes thrown in.

Enjoying Reckless (ITVX) at the moment. A 4 part Australian re-make of the original BBC series Guilt.
Enough differences to be interesting.
Suitably late to the party, but just starting to watch Foundation.
Quite enjoying it so far although I reckon it will start running out of steam fairly soon.

Goes daft, but importantly still very watchable
Will wait until they’ve all dropped and then binge.
Mobland S2 and Dead City S3, Gangster and Zombie fest weekend for me.
Watched Furious , which was excellent Rewatched Unbeleivable, which got better second time round. Looming Tower again, looking a bit dated, but still good, shame they didn’t go into a second series.
