Went to see Spiderman today. Probably the kindest thing I can say is that itâs probably not meant for my demographic.

Urgh. Eldest wants to go see it, which probably means me being in attendance. Iâve never seen any of the Spiderman films, theyâve just never grabbed me.
As a family, we recently watched all of the Marvel films. I share your pain as at least 90% of them were utter gash.

The Spiderman series arenât really Marvel films.
Marvel sold the rights to Spiderman (and X Men and Blade) years ago when they were skint and have had very little control over the films.
The MCU series really started with Iron Man

The Chestnut Man - another Scandi crime drama, which is pretty good although it has a few duff moments. Itâs a 6 part series though so not too long.

Err, no he wouldnât. Batman is a great character because he doesnât have any super powers, apart from his wealth and detecting skills.
Like him or not Spider-Man would run circles around him.
