Just cast my mind back over that for a moment, and it’s amazing how vivid my sense of it still is. What a series. I don’t think I’ve seen anything better. So aptly named though. From the first scene, I was both unsettled and captivated in equal amounts, and remained that way throughout all three seasons. I wish I could forget it, so I could start all over again.

Watched A team the movie last night. Mrs Pilgrims choice. It wasn’t worst film I’ve ever seen but it’s up there.
got The Matrix on 4K yesterday. sat down to check it out and ended up watching half of it before the wife got back. It does look very good but its the sound on these 4K discs that impressive me the most - they seem to have remembered what dynamic range is and apply it with enthusiasm.
Unless it’s a Disney disc 
oh? i wont rush out and buy any then. Disney+ doesn’t seem to bad so it’s a shame if the discs aren’t at least as good.

these are actual 4K discs - in boxes - from HMV of all places!!!. Ive used netflix/disney plus and the odd torrent file for years. Ive not got any 4K rips as i just havent bothered.
if the on screen display is accurate, they have pretty massive data rates, well beyond streaming bandwidth.
im quite enjoying going back to disc at the moment, plus they dont disappear without warning when the streaming service take it off (usually the day before you decide you’d like to watch it)
Watching Susan Calman on QIXL. She’s great, so enthusiastic and open.

watched The Batman last night
What a fucking awful film, the script was terrible in the places it wasn’t drowned out by the shite soundtrack, swear to god if I hear Ave Maria one more fucking time I’m going on a killing spree
I understand why this film is liked by my 15 yr old nephews and other teenagers, this isn’t a film it is a video game with the commentry and lack of decent script.
I think I’d rather sit bare arsed on a tray of gravel and watch Ad Astra than go through that trough of rancid duck vomit again.
On the plus side the ribeye at Bar & Block after was very good.
