Wtd: BT100 Bluetooth dongle for CA CXN

Just on the off chance that somebody has one knocking about they no longer need.

Failing that, any other suggestions how to play music (particularly Bandcamp purchases) from my phone to my CXN?

Bought this to hook up my laptop and amp via bluetooth Mike and it’s been absolutely great.

I hard wired my CA 851N to my router (also have NAS connected) and use the CA Streamer app on my phone. The app connectes to the NAS and also the streaming services I use.

If your router is in a different part of the house that probably won’t work (the wiring bit) but thought I would offer up an alternative solution.

To plumb into the Cambridge CXN DAC/streamer as Mike initially stated, a Bluetooth receiver that is capable of SPdif digital audio is needed. Think the one you linked to only outputs analogue audio via 3.5mm or rca jacks.

Summat like this ‘un should work into t’ CXNs optical input.

Dunno whether there would be any worthwhile performance gains, over the one you posted & plumbed straight into Mikes amp, but I’d always wonder!

Thanks for the suggestion Kev but, unfortunately, the router is 2 floors down and the other side of the house.

I know, no commitment :joy:

Would have been Gareth, but I’ve gone for the one Al suggested.
