WTD iPad controller

My very old iPad Air is great for travel to read books on and if it is broken or lost it’s not a biggie.
It’s so old that it runs 12.5.7
I need a cheap newer one to act only as a controller for Auralic streamer.
The one Tim sold for £40 would have been ideal. Anyone with anything in a cupboard that they would be willing to post?

SWMBO actually has a brand new iPad and her old one would work. Slight issue is that only FOL2 will be allowed to transfer old to new.

  3. Likely to be Christmas before we see her

Just found my wife’s old iPad thinking it might do but it is a generation 4 maxing out at 10.3.3 !!
