Thanks Chris. I did see it and am watching closely. I don’t really know the going rates for these things but the dealer that offered me the 60g weight was asking £75. Also someone on ebay is selling a NOS 110g heavy weight for £200 which does seem excessive. So on balance £180 for the two weights is not ridiculous.
Think with a vintage arm like yours,I’d always try and get original parts.
Also it probably wouldn’t be a massive difference in price for someone to make it and get it blasted to look similar to rest of the weights.
Good to know. I imagine that means that a boxed heavy counterweight should sell quickly. Unless something turns up before Wednesday, I’ve decided that I am going to snipe on the ebay lot that Chris linked to upthread.
