We recently bought a motorhome and are in the process of kitting it out.
I want a coffee machine but have been told I’m not allowed anything that will result in a mess, because apparently she’s sick and tired of cleaning up my coffee grounds. This is a despicable slander because the Sage is a bean to cup and the used pucks go straight into the knock box and then into the food bin. I mean the odd one might escape onto the worktop or floor but I’m generally pretty good at cleaning up afterwards…
Anyway I’m only allowed a pod machine, and as compact as practicable, as long as I can get an americano out of it.
Suppose the original little pods would suit the space saving brief better than the Vertuo ones, and I could use compatible ones, but I’m not that bothered really
So has anyone got one at the back of a cupboard?
Cheap as possible would be great, it’s only going to get used fairly infrequently.
I’ll probably end up with one of those Gregg, but they use the Vertuo pods, and you can’t get aftermarket/3rd party pods in that format, which is why I thought I’d see if someone had an unloved original type sitting at the back of a cupboard.
Convincingly, vaguely drop in ‘all that faff is pointless’ take a sip and say ‘Yum’…
Continue to subject daily untill you sense she’s just about had enough then say, ‘I have to be honest I was hoping this coffee would do me but I don’t really like it…’ With a fair wind she will honestly agree and you get a green light to convert half the vehicle into a full pressure excraction device.
