Yet another thread for the purposes of awarding a cockpunch

I fear you’ve been mesmerised by his shiny noggin

Being British, we’d presumably put it out to tender, and have a French company administrating it.

The oath will be recorded and placed on the chip that is part of your employment identity along with facial recognition data, finger prints and your DNA profile. Henceforth, this recording will be known as the master oath.

On random occasions you will be stopped in the street or telephoned at night and asked to repeat your oath. These random repetitions will be compared with the master oath, for levels of dedication, recital gusto and authenticity. Those unable to recite the oath to a level that matches the original will be summarily convicted with no trial and made to serve a punishment in the newly established state prison of Grimsby

Tomorrow belongs to me!

Yet again I am in need of a pugilistic blow to my reproductive erectile tissue.

About a year ago, my brother gave me all his vinyl, including some really good stuff, on the condition I taped (yes, really) all of it for him.

Anyway, he’s coming to ours for Xmas, and out of about 100 albums, I have recorded approximately (i.e exactly) 3… And he is expecting to get a shit load of cassettes… Oh fuck…:scream:

Yes, they do. But as you will know at least as well as I Bob, ‘the civil service’ itself is not by any means the whole of the public sector. Strictly speaking it doesn’t include, for example, the police, the NHS, the military, local government, the BBC or any of the nearly 1000 NDPBs (aka ‘arms length bodies’ or ‘quangos’). Many of these have of course adopted the civil service code to a greater or lesser extent. But the adoption hasn’t been complete or without controversy. Here’s an example from the area I used to work in letter to Francis Maude regarding changes to the Civil Service Code | Science Media Centre. When Javid said that he didn’t want a ‘government approved, one size fits all identity’ maybe issues like this one were the kind of thing he had in mind ?

let’s not forget the local councils, that well known hotbed of conformity. Half of them would burn an oath, deeming it, quite rightly, to be pandering to the UKIP post Brexit fall out.

Unless he gave you a bucket full of tapes tell him how hard it is these days to get hold of 50 TDK SA90s
