Sorry to hear that Olan. Alzheimer’s took my wife’s aunt at 89 a couple of months ago. It was all surprisingly and mercifully swift.

My mother on the other hand is 91, really not with us at all, but still pluthering on. That’s with ischemic dementia a.k.a. plain old age.

Thanks to all. I’m actually hoping that matters finally come to a head. Mum would be horrified at what has happened to her if she understood. Dementia is horrible, takes your memories, then your dignity and eventually your life. Enough is enough…
