Don’t you mean in the same room
Well, I survived at Lopwell!
Cunting £67 for the train ticket.
Quite a tax to avoid @jim’s farts.
Where are you ending up? Settle station? Do you need a lift from the station?
Arrives at Settle at 1749, I think @jim has volunteered a lift
I’m surprised it’s that little TBH. Jim’s round trip petrol bill will be a fair bit more than that I imagine (shared between how ever many passengers of course).
EDIT: By the way if you get stuck give me a call. I can PM my mobile number (assuming I can get a signal there) and stay off the beer if you think you might need a lift.

@octh what do we need to bring? Sleeping bag? Pillow? What’s provided, if anything?
Some nice scenery views from that train
I’ll get a great view of the Wakefield waste processing site in South Kirkby. I worked on that project for fucking years.
For the adventurous, the folks in the other half of the barn have an interesting event on Saturday (see below). This will mean extra cars arriving and departing Sat am and pm, so please park as tight as is reasonable.
For those of a less active nature, the cheese festival may be of interest, a short drive away.
Doubt if we’ll get TMS down there!
Checking on this, can’t remember. Will post when I get a reply from the owners.
Isn’t it sleeping bag and pillow case?
I think I took a sleeping bag and pillow last year if memory serves…
Will be about £120 for the round trip. That was to be shared by four, but alas now only two ![]()
…but on the upside - there’s a much smaller likelihood of suspension shenanigans. ![]()
Can we charge them for parking in our car park
They might say the same!
Yeah, but we’ll be there first
As a general point, could everyone try to arrive after 3.30pm on Friday? If you get to the area early then Settle is worth a quick look around, and Ye Olde Naked Man in the centre of town serves a good cup of tea or coffee.
What’s the post code for the barn Dave?
