I have a soft spot for the whole Some Girls album. Yeah, I know, Mick and Keef were hanging out in discos too much but it is funky and fun. You even get the pretend country Far Away Eyes
Here you go Stu @MonitorGold10
One of the finest blues guitarists ever IMO, sharing his talent.
David Johansen makes a pretty fair job of the vocals/harmonica too
Great find that Al - love it!
Iām almost neurotically not a completist, but his solo stuff is beautiful - just grabbed a copy of the IFYOUBELIEVEIN compilaton on CD - a must have! Cheers for the heads-up
Same here but I do love getting the nod about stuff like this - it was someone on BlueSky that posted it up earlier tonight.
Just listening to it on youtube now - I think Iāll be joining you and getting the CD as well
Vinyl available on Bandcamp, albeit with pisstake US postal costsā¦
Nah feck that.

A bit of Americana from Tim Stafford and Thomm Jutz - a song about wall painters in the Depression. Great images too, a pity that there are no credits for them.
Late response. He invented 60s rock playing at the same time, years ahead of time, with his use of distortion. One of my favourite bluesmen too
